See above:
Brewfest will be brought forward one week, and won't overlap with MoP.
Phew for non-rush leveling.

Brekkie:Tanks are like shitty DPS. And healers are like REALLY distracted DPS
Amirya:Why yes, your penis is longer than his because you hit 30k dps in the first 10 seconds. But guess what? That raid boss has a dick bigger than your ego.
Flex:I don't make mistakes. I execute carefully planned strategic group wipes.
Levie:(in /g) It's weird, I have a collar and I dont know where I got it from, Worgen are kinky!
Levie:Drunk Lev goes and does what he pleases just to annoy sober Lev.

only partially... most of the tears were by the "I want to take 3 months to level, so it's not fair that I can't see Coren" crowd...
So as a result, the retuned Coren gear will be a total waste, since we'll be in T15 by the next time it comes around.
Pfftt....

Re: 5.0.4 PTR
I was going to ask if you really wanted your first epics in Mists to come from a 5man seasonal boss, but then realised the first ones are going to come from LFR, so mute point.

Moot. It's a moot point.

Better that way, I guess. Players are good enough at tearing themselves over the stupidest thing not to give them more things to bicker about.

Well, I know you would prefer that seasonal bosses didn't drop epics, so they weren't mandatory for progression raiders..

Not really a major problem.
Pretty much every raiding guild will have its players at lvl90 within a week or so of launch. Farming a seasonal boss with a guild group is fast and efficient.
It just doesn't feel right.

Having it available at launch is still better than a year later when it's utterly meaningless, even for the casuals.
Side note.. the blue post about that was a bit odd.. they said it would be pushed forward, meaning it would be unavailable by the time you hit level cap, but also said it was closer to hallow's eve, which would mean it will be pushed back.. not completely sure what they are doing.

Hmm, actually went and found the post in question (I hadn't seen it because the EU blue posts aren't usually worth looking at), and it pretty clearly says they're moving it a week later to give us extra time to level up.

Hopefully they update the HH loot as well, would be really odd after Coren to have 359 loot from HH.. >.>

Re: 5.0.4 PTR
What an awkward way of saying what they're doing with brewfest. I mean I'm pretty sure it's not technically wrong, since it's being pushed forward in time to come later, but still. I almost want to put my tinfoil hat on for some reason. Also shit, I'd be more inclined to ignore the event if I was already wearing epixx, especially since from what I remember the rogue trinkets were generally not great for assassination.

Shank is pretty decent for rogues. Tankard should be good for shaman/monks. And who doesn't want a brewmaster dual wielding Tankards?

The trinkets will certainly be better than any leveling gear...
