The Jeeves schematic itself is fine, but they do need to remove some of the older mats.
Along that line, they also need to simplify the early-stage mats for some of the crafting professions, and stick with normal raw mats, and not all the obscure crap. Anything in the 1-300 zone should be a combo of very standard materials.

I'd say the big part of the problem is the 275-300 zone. You can't start early on BC components, and are stuck with the often VERY expensive components of the range. That way, 25 points in every range is either something special in the lower series or the very basics of the new series. (275 - 300, 350 - 375, 425 - 450)

There's a vendor for that on the new grand Yak. I can just imagine pissing off raid leaders by dropping a reforge-bot though...

Ooh, that's nice. Of course the profession skillup item probably won't ever pop while you're still levelling your profs.

Re: MoP Professions
My main toon is Skin/LW for the time being, since initial costs of leather is gonna be sky high, when I'm fully to 600 LW and raiding, I'm planning to go enginner and drop skinning, then again Eng is a PITA at lower levels, but maybe by the profits of selling spare leather while leveling I could afford it.

There's always Scrapbot Construction Kit. One craft creates 5 bots, so 2 saronite bars a piece. That's about 7.5g at current prices on my realm. Jeeves has a longer cooldown and costs about 2500g to make, which is well over 300 regular repair bots. So, he's only cost effective for the bank access and/or if you're dropping an awful lot of bots every week (bearing in mind that T12 and T13 raid both had repair NPCs inside). However, given that there was no cata level expendable bot I do think we're due for one.

but you have to keep making scrap bots, you only have to make one jeeves or blingbot
they will pay for themselves eventually

Sure, I love mine, but it's hardly necessary for a new engineer to farm up the plans and make one just to have repair bots. It would probably take 1-2 years for Jeeves to pull ahead on cost alone (discounting his extra utility).

true, but then there is the completionest factor
someone like me wants to have all the toys that come with a profession
nad as far as the time it takes to pull ahead, with the new reduced mats for a blingtron, i dont think it will take that long
at least you dont have to make a crap ton of scrap bots and repair bots to make a blingtron like you do a jeeves
