I'd have expected Lightbeard to post that, not you. XD

Also, the only way Rey Misterio could have won is if he knew Hokuto Shinken

Oh hey, Rey does a good job of being a Prot Paladin RBG flag carrier. ~

Frustration...

Macros are so entirely broken now (and/or disabled) that even simple functions are near impossible. I can't even do a simple

/cast Hunter's Mark
/petattack

The pet attack will fire once, then never again, even when getting out of combat and acquiring a new mob.

maybe you need a target macro added into it?

Nah. Macros are broken. Simple /cast Ability X /cast Ability Y ones don't work.

Alabster Shield glyph stacks to three, each ShoR decreases the stack by 1 instead of chewing it all on one hit.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Macros were disabled in the last build, because people were exploiting macro spam to create problems with some quests. Amusingly enough, Shamans and Guardian Druids are up in arms over that fact, since their rotations could be simplified into one-button macros.

Great... so the asshats make it near impossible to do anything. I'm not going to go from 5 keybinds back to 12 just for beta, and to relearn it all again.

The disabled macros really fucked with me because I have a overloaded middle mouse button macro that responds to various modifier keys and I am seriously crippled without it.

That would kill me with the tendonitis in a few of my fingers. I have most of my toon rotations set to 2 buttons with 2-3 other supporting buttons so I can rotate which fingers I want to feel pain in that day.

So yeah, right now I'm setting Beta aside until at least basic macros are working again.

Yeah, same. I have my ` key overloaded to 3 or 4 per character, and I had just overloaded my first 7 hotkeys on my monk the night before they changed it... I was very confused. It feels like the "situational" stuff monks have comes up way more often than the situational stuff I have. Maybe it's just that I don't have a click-casting mod to handle all my heals and Hands.

Unless they changed something since Saturday, all of the macros I use were working fine. You just need to add an ! before the spell name.
So if I want to make a mouseover macro for hand of protection it would go:
/cast [@mouseover] !hand of protection

It may be class dependent. I know I was trying (on Sunday)

/cast !Arcane Shot

And even that didn't work (well, it would work ONCE. Next target acquired? nada, unless I restarted. Same with the /petattack)

Got a feeling that the mac & pc clients were stuffed to different degrees with the macros.

What I heard was that mac client macros didn't work at all & windows clients needed to add the anti-toggle bit to all spells (the ! infront of the ability name). That's like 3rd hand gossip tho, so take it with a grain of salt...
