Have now switched to Miracle Rogue after getting a lot of new cards made. Not quite working out so well so far, think the meta shifted while I was crafting it. (The Priests that were beating my Warrior suddenly vanished and everything got taken over by Mages, Hunters and other Rogues.)

Try it in Druid. Turn one, Innervate into Bot. Turn two, drop Rangaros/Geddon/Ysera/Malygos.

Now, how do you build a deck that can do that consistently? :)

One of the good things about using Shaman was that I could wait a little while and drop it behind a Feral Spirit. Also, Windfury.

With Druid... I suppose you could build the deck so that if you don't get the bot out, you can still ramp into the big minions with Wild Growth and Nourish.

You don't. It's a gimmick that relies on luck and shock factor. Consistency is for aggro and handlocks.

And when it works, it works. Nobody expects turn 2 Deathwing.

...Though I have now disenchanted my Alarm-o-Bots and Deathwing to make my Rogue deck.

The new Rogue card is:

Anub'ar Ambusher - 4 mana, 5/5, Deathrattle: Return a (random) friendly minion to your hand.

That looks borderline OP to me. *shrug*

Was SO CLOSE in arena, just finished an 11-3 run, best I've done. Really strong Rogue, even with no deadly poisons. 2 Backstab, Evis, and Disguised Toasts are strong, and I only had a couple of subpar minions. Great curve too.

What on earth is a Disguised Toast?

I'm having most success on the ladder right now by going back to my Antonidas Mage deck. Which still isn't very much success, but better than I'm managing with my other decks lately. At least it's fun when it works.

There are still too many Priests on the ladder. Which completely contradicts when people are saying on things like the DKMR Meta Report (where Priest is listed least popular), but it's what I'm seeing.

It's a joke on the SI 7 agent's emote of "Ah, dis'guis' toast!"

Finally found somebody else who's playing Rogue Burn: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/52999-in ... burn-rogue

I'm gone over to using a slightly modified version of his modified deck (so 2x Cold Blood because it's awesome - I'm not using Legendaries, and I've added Sprint and Nightblade from my version).

Haven't played it enough to beat my previous best of rank 12, but I just got there now and I'm still winning games. Looking good.

(edit: my list is the linked list -Leeroy, Talnos, 2x Deckhand, +Sprint, 2x Nightblade, 1x Shadowstep)

I accidentally lost a game to that kind of Rogue deck this morning.

I say "accidentally" because I had them at 5 health, with 10 mana and Ice Block + Archmage Antonidas in my hand, but for some dumbass reason I played Gadgetzan Auctioneer + Ice Block + Mirror Image and tried to dig for a spell in my deck to finish.

Oops!

It's probably no good at lower rankings, but does just fine at my churlish rank. Maybe I'll get my druid tempo/cockroach deck to work once this stops working. I got a golden Cenarius who'll turn into Cairne when I start playing that deck seriously again.

Worst thing about losing a match on my Mage to a Rogue because of a misplay is that Rogue is already my worst matchup (25% win rate).

Still having a lot of fun with Mage, though. The deck's pretty good against Priest (75%) and Mage (73%), with the rest being in the 40-60% range. So value depends heavily on which classes are being played more.

Lost to a Priest this morning, though. They got a Pyromancer + Northshire Cleric rolling and I never drew into what I needed.

I've never played Mage seriously.

Continuing my netdecking ways, the Shockadin deck is fun. Crawled back up to rank 11 with it, even though I got no Leeroy and only one Avenging Wrath (and I really miss both those cards).

Equality->Consecration is strong, but Equality->Avenging Wrath is hilarious.

Heh I may have to try Paladin. After yet another crappy arena run, I opened a Tirion.

(Opened 4 Legendaries now: Ysera, Krush, TBK, and now Tirion. Not bad. Not bad at all.)

Last Arena was amusing and/or frustrating. My only decent class cards were THREE explosive shots, a houndmaster, and one UtH. Super low mana curve, had like 12 2drops. UtH is still good, won me 3 of my 5 games by itself (one giant Frostwolf, one giant Scavenging, and one "oops you played too many guys now i have lethal").

Frustrating end to it though, had a horrific draw against a warrior (and he had double fiery win axe), had finally stabilized the board when I had a whole 2 life (DoA made a couple of 5/5+ taunts, Scavenging on board, and I had UtH and another DoA in hand), and he played Mad Bomber with 7 non-me targets out (1 warrior, 1 of his minions, and 5 of mine). Of course the damn thing hit me twice. Of course.

Just finished my 200th (roughly, the program misses one occasionally) game on the Mage deck. Here's the stats from those 200 games - the deck has me at rank 7:

Image

The name of the deck is from back when it had things like Gagdetzan Auctioneer and Leeroy Jenkins in it. Doesn't really match it now. The current decklist is this:

Annoying thing about Mage, though, is that their ability to finish is shared with their removal - you have to choose between using a spell to kill minions and using it to hit face later. I lose to Warrior most because I hit a point where there just isn't enough damage left in my deck to beat their armour.

New Shaman card!

Rebirth, 2 mana: Destroy a minion and return it to life with full health.

Interesting to combo with all the deathrattles, but also: Use it on a charge minion and you could attack again.

Thought: Leeroy + Ancestral Spirit x 1 + Rebirth x 2 = 10 mana, 24 damage, only 2 whelps summoned.

So, I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry...

Another great Arena draft, 11 wins again. Not bad for losing the 1st and 4th game - big streak after that. Rogue again, too (and first pick Rag is nice).

Get stuff from Arena - Golden Master of Disguise (which is funny because that card won me at least two games - stealthing an Enraged Raging Worgen is fun. Never got to Stealth Rag though.)

Open pack: Get an Epic (BGH, my 2nd), and a Legendary. Ysera, also a 2nd, even though I have a grand total of 4 legendaries right now.

Hmm....

Edit: That probably does give me enough dust to craft a legendary at least (Thalnos probably - he goes into lots of stuff), or maybe ALL OF THE ANCIENTS for druid (as I don't have any right now). Double hmm....

Stealthing Rag isn't all that good, since it will break as soon as he deals damage at the end of turn.

(Nat Pagle or Auctioneer, on other hand...)

I'm struggling a bit with crafting legendarys myself. I have a golden Cenarius, and the plan was to turn it into Cairne (good in my druid deck). However, lately I've been playing almost exclusively aggro decks (first Rogue, now 80 games of Shockadin*), and those decks wants Leeroy. And as you say, ALL THE ANCIENTS is very tempting for druid (I especially miss Lore). I guess I'll be holding onto Cenarius for some time while I fail to make a decision.

*I barely touched rank 11, living mostly at rank 13 before I tried the pala rush deck. Just made it back to rank 7 now (bouncing between 7 and 9) - my personal best! Yay!

I have to say, when it works, Avenging Wrath is teh awsum.

Why is everyone suddenly playing Murloc Warlock again? (This one seems to be built with some of the Zoo cards in it.)

My guess would be that they think murloc synergy is cool, and Zoo makes it work.
