I don't think anyone really runs Silence as a card. If you need silence there are minions that silence and put a body on the board. If there's nothing worth silencing Silence is a dead card in your hand.

I'm not a big fan of 5+ minions, as they are too easily taken out <.< I rather have many small minions usually.

Depends. I used to not roll any non-legendaries at 5+ (with the notable exception of the Argent WhateverChargeGoon), but when Mage was dominating a couple Guardians of Kings were really nice.

Thing is, big guys are risky because if they get offed first turn, you haven't got value out of them. So the trick is to force value out of them one way or another (i.e. GoK's heal, Argent's DS/Charge, Tirion's Deathrattle)

But to be honest anything above 4 or 5 5+ cards is immensely risky with the Hunter rush out and about. Say you draw two of those early on, half your hand is probably dead weight.

How often is a deck consisting of low cost cards going to trade one-for-one or better against an opponent's bigger cards? How often are you going to be forced to run multiple small minions into one big minion, giving your opponent good value for their one card?

On the opposite side of that - how often are you forced to "waste" your big guy taking out a 0/2 (or something like it) taunt - multiple small guys are better int that aspect - iow, it dependws what you hit.
Main Characters:
Nooska, Blood Elf BM/SV Hunter on Argent Dawn (EU)
Morosin, Bloody freezing orc death knight on Argent Dawn (EU)
Niisca, Shady forsaken "priest" on Argent Dawn (EU)

Huh, guys, dumb argument both ways.

You need both for multiple reasons:

You can't play big guys early on
Big guys are more sensitive to removers

BUT

Small guys still cost you your draw for the turn for a smaller return
Small guys die just as easy, if not easier
Later on, you'll be sitting on mana and won't be able to blow it on small things
Too many small guys and you won't be able to "seal the deal" and pray the other guys dies to fatigue.

Never said you didn't need both.

Anyway, point is, you need to either try to rush down an opponent as fast as possible (which Priest just isn't the class for), or you need to be able to at least keep up with your opponent all the way into the late game - and without running out of cards, which can happen if you have too much cheap stuff.

Aside: I'm really loving the new Druid meta - it's amazing how aggressive it can be sometimes despite being ostensibly a control deck.

I'm currently having fun with a Druid spell deck with Malygos (my only legendary). It works pretty well. I haven't got much dust lying around, but if I get some more from my current arena run or disenchant some cards I don't use I can make two Starfall and the other Wrath for 240 dust. Is it worth it?

The decklist:

2x Innervate
2x Moonfire
2x Claw
2x Wild Growth
Wrath
Frostwolf Grunt (would be replaced by Wrath)
2x Kobold Geomancer
2x Healing Touch
Mark of Nature
2x Dalaran Mage
2x Swipe
2x Ogre Magi
2x Taz'dingo
Gadgetzan Auctioneer (Considering removing him for one of the Starfalls)
Force of Nature
2x Starfire
2x Ironbark Protector
Malygos

Personally I don't think having more than 1 Starfall is worth it. I had no idea Wrath was crafted - you definately want a second one.

I finally beat 7 wins in arena!

I was at 5/2. Then I won a match. And another. And another. And, um...

It wasn't even all that good a deck. I was completely surprised by how well it did(screenshotted when I got to 11):

damn you hunter decks!

Ranked season 2 just ended. (Now that the bugs are fixed, they can reset it live without any downtime - just get an in-game message.) I got rank 9, but I spent a helluva lot of this season in Arena instead of grinding ladder.

So ehm how does one counter a OTK deck?
Like, last game i was (Paladin) against (Mage), happily leading 22-8 with 6 minions on field, he suddently drops me to 0 within 1 turn without anything I could do...

How did he do it? Tricky to get that much damage out in one go.
