after some 25-30 pulls we're seeing consistent start of p3, so far we've managed to bring a shadow elemental with us in that will then proceed to wipe us :)

but seems definately doable, on par with dps.

we have a fury warrior handle the elementals pretty much all by himself, dps loss from that is manageable (he does 80%+ of the damage on them).

we start near the alcoves for the first two adds, then move further and further away for the next two adds, and 5th add is just offtanked a little bit until 25% is reached.

hoping p3 won't take too long to learn, and that we'll stop eating too many shadowcrashes/ being faster on interrupts soon

shaman and (maybe our's is just uber) kitties with the range on interrupts are gods here, frisbee isn't half bad either.

ignoring dps on elementals doesn't really feel viable in 10 man, but that could just be us

We are finally getting used to the fight, we have had a few attempts under 7%, seem to have a lot of trouble in phase 3 for whatever reason.

We 3 heal it with a disc priest, druid, and holy pally. We have our fire mage get 100% corruption and go absolutely nuts on everything. He kills the elementals, the large adds, helps on the little adds, and spend the rest of his time nuking the boss. There is a little more raid damage with his aoe shadowbolt, and sometimes it's tricky keeping him alive. He can iceblock the first shadow aoe, and then we have external cooldowns for the others. As for his mana, he gets an innervate and hyme when needed. He can stay alive from the time he gets full corruption(right after the first wave of adds) up until the push for phase 3, and then gets battle rezzed.

Doing this we were able to push phase 3 numerous times with only 3 big adds, pushing right before the 4th wave. Hope this helps a bit! There are many vids of guilds 2 healing it, 3 healing it without someone getting 100% corruption. We use this strat because it makes healing really easy AND ensures we can push the boss in a reasonably amount of time.

EDIT: Walked in tonight and 2 shot the boss 2 healing, with our mage getting 100% corruption after the first wave of adds. Pushed phase 3 before the 4th wave of little adds. Two healed with a holy pally and disc priest.

2 healing with noone currupted ended up working best for us.

we had a warrior soloing (more or less) the elementals, everyone else on the adherent, ranged killing off the blood.

we put cho'gall on the stairs, with everyone inside the jaw, for phase 3, that hugs up the spawns nicely, but also means you'll take a beating from the spiked tentacles, for us, it worked well.

Army of the dead in p3 when there's a few spiked tentacles up is ace, as the spikes start hitting them instead of you :P

anyway, looking forward to seeing how much the nerfs mean this week.
