Raid loot ratio?

I haven't been keeping up on the raid testing nights, but are they itemized yet? I was curious if the 25s were dropping more loot per person than 10s. E.g. 6/25 per boss vs 2/10. That seemed to be their stated goal but it's always hard to infer from their stated goal from months ago.

Currently 10-man bosses drop 2 pieces of loot, 25-man bosses drop 5 pieces of loot. I don't think they can drop duplicate items outside of tier tokens, which does affect the chance of things a bit.

I'm hearing that the 6 pieces in a 25-man will only be in heroic, but, who knows what will actually make it live.

We did a few of kills in 25-man in Blackwing Descent and Bastion of Twilight. I thought they dropped 6 pieces, but it could have been 5... I'll check again when/if beta instances are up tomorrow.

Sorry to butt in here... but Valor Points are from raids... please tell me they won't also be available by doing the daily heroic?

They will, just like EoF were available from the daily heroic in WotLK.

However, there'll be a weekly cap on VPoint accumulation, so depending on what kinda of raiding you do, you may not need to run the daily heroic every day (or even at all) in order to hit that weekly accumulation cap.

This makes me grumble. I thought Blizzard established that they wanted to get people AWAY from having to do the daily heroic grind.

Edit: So we're also right fucking back to square one, and giving raiding gear to non-raiders. Didn't we learn anything from the last expansion?

I see the Weekly Cap text for the Conquest Points placeholder in-game right now, I assume that'll be the case for Valor Points as well.

That is a good point, though -- I had forgotten about that. Sounds like that'll allow 10- and 25-man raiders to obtain Valor points at the same rate, except that 10-man raiders will have to do a bit of extra work to hit the weekly Valor cap. I can live with that.
