It's unfortunate that our tanking bonuses are identical to warrior bonuses, but overall, I like what they're doing.

I'm excited about PvP titles.
Why can't a Warrior Thunderclap while silenced?

You're actually clapping your thighs together with a force so powerful that you generate a sonic boom and the resulting electrostatic energy. Unfortunately, when you're silenced, you can't generate the audible force from your thunder thighs.

It's not like they haven't done it before in previous content.

Its no coincidence. If they made them different, then people would cry rivers about how one is OP compared to the other, blah blah.

So Blizzard is making every role exactly the same. No more baby crying

Ugh? I thought that part to be the highlight of all changes for this build.

yea still on GCD isn't that great...

Is it just me, or does it feel that they found a good way to change holy and ret, but prot has a long way to go? Right now it feels like we are some patchwerk of both ret and holy, with some getto talents for prot flavour.

Like,
I just think its funny how we have 3 cooldowns at 85. bubblewall, ardent defender and Ancient king.
They don't seem to be able to find a fun way to make HoPo work for protection.
Our rotation is all messed up.

WTB early implementation of HoPo

I can imagine the discussion went like this:

"Hey, prot pallies kinda want an interrupt. Maybe we should make Rebuke a spell available to all specs, or we could do something similar with Skull Bash with feral druids."
"Nah, let's just give them the interrupt feature we took out of Hammer of Justice but make them spend talent points on it"
"I love that idea!"

edit: on the plus side they really buffed Hot Streak, maybe I'll just play the mage for Cata...

10% CS dmg seems kinda MEH compared to warriors 5% shield slam dmg

God, I've been bitching and bitching about wanting an interrupt on the beta forums, and they re-implement this abomination. Guess I should have been more specific.

10% CS dmg seems kinda MEH compared to warriors 5% shield slam dmg

No point talking about this sort of thing yet. The numbers can and will change.

Why do you find that funny? All non-DK tanks have three cooldowns.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Not excited about any of those.

CS is a lame spell. It's not a PROT spell, but yet that's our T11 set bonus? /spit

HoJ being on the GCD and we have to spend 4 talent points to get it to do anything reasonable? Yeah, that's wonderful.

Unfinished and forgotten so far.

In other news, they added archeology \o/

As for set bonuses, remember how many times they changed between initial datamining and going live.
