Issue in our 25man was never tank transition/damage, it was dps falling behind and going spastic with the spores.

Just taunt (Hand of Reckoning) and bubble cleanse while the taunt debuff is up on the boss.

Bubbling out of the stack on the tank does nothing to reduce the incoming damage on the tank. Tank damage goes up as the boss inhales the gas in the room, which also lowers raid damage. On our kill this week we found our tank transitions (the OT was taking over at 8-9 stacks) was putting the tank transition right around the third inhale. The issue that creates is tank damage is very heavy right at a tank transition, which puts heavy pressure on the already pressured healers. Thinking next time we'll do the first transition at 4-5 stacks instead and the two following transitions at 8-9 stacks (whenever the current OT's stack drops) which should put the tank transitions closer to the 2nd inhale where the tank damage is easier to manage and there's still decent raid heals going around to splash onto the tanks.

We ran with 2 pally tanks and didn't really see the need to do much of anything differently, although with 4pc T9 this fight could likely be solo tanked at the expense of having a shield wall available...but with no tank transitions required it might be the preferable method.

No but it helps if you don't have to make your healers swap tanks during a 3 stack on the boss :) . Generally I don't bubble anymore anyway on that fight coz it's a dps loss if my stacks drop, but it might help with timing issues.

Confirmed this week...doing the first tank transition at 4-5 stacks then all later transitions when the debuff wears off (right around the 9th stack on the current tank) puts the transitions right around the 2nd inhale, making the transition much easier.

What we finally did was daisy chain hand of sacrifice, divine sacrifice, and then the other guy blow is own divine shield. And we did it the other way around for the second time. It worked like a charm, but it did require two paladins specced into divine sacrifice.
