Stamina to Hp conversion
I was comparing stats with a warrior friend of mine and ran into a problem. He has 1134 total stam (unbuffed) and I have 1234 stam (unbuffed). Because of talents I also have 16% stam increase and he has only 5%. Somehow my friend still has more hp that I do when I have more total stam and more stam increase via talents. Does anyone know what causes this?

To be correct, warriors have around 1200 more HP naked than a paladin.

Also, the character sheet stamina numbers already include the +16%/+5% stamina from tallents. They will not include the +5% tauren racial bonus, since that is total HP and not stamina.

255 characters is not enough to fit my alts' armories in.

I read what dorvan said and felt like an idiot. 143 base stamina is *supposedly* 1430 hp, a naked 70 should have a min of 5-6k.
The main problem I'm having now is that on my character tab over my stamina it shows 1230 stam and says it increases my hp by 12,120. That conversion rate seems to be around 9.8 rather than the 10 that everybody always says. I've always assumed stam-> is 10 hp per point of stam.

It is 10 health per stamina. For some odd reason, there is a static amount of your stamina that is not converted to health. The real conversion equation is something like:
10*(stam-base) = health
EDIT: The number is 18 stam. For some reason 18 of your stam is never converted into health

i think it doesn't convert until a certain lvl. its probably to stop people from putting cleft hoof on lvl 1 pants and having lvl 1s with 500hp

I always assumed it was because the "starting" stats don't contribute. I.e. you start with 18 stamina, and say 97 health - those are static amounts that don't actually function the way they should. I guess I could roll a level 1 pally and do some experimenting
