So, I leveled prot, so that I could AoE with holy shield and all the nifty stuff that comes along with AoE. I've tanked 3-4 instances, All went well, but nothing since blood furnace.

Hopefully my Armory works. I know that I don't have a lot of 'good' gear. i'm curious, can I tanking things my level with my current gear? Or do I need to go 'back' a step to lower level instances to get better gear first? If armory doesn't work, I'm 69 with:

9854 HP
10903 Armor
473 Defense
10.57 dodge
15.32 parry
12.73 block

There are gems in my belt (even tho they NEVER show on the armory) it's a purple parry + stamina and a green def + stam gem (both blue quality

So, can I tank 68-69 content? Or should I go back to Mana Tombs, UB to get the gear so that I can tank?

I'm currently working on quests in netherstorm to get the trinket and tankadin belt for 70. At 70, I have felsteel leggins and gloves waiting on me with blue quality tanking gems throughout.

Lev, you're so grumpy, you on the Man-rag again?

In answer to the OP, pre-lvl 70 Tankadinning goes something like this:

1. Get as much Stamina and Spellpower as possible. Resilience or Defense is nice if possible, but don't worry about them too much.
2. Bind one half your keyboard to Consecrate, the other half to Holy Shield.
3. Roll your face over the keyboard.
4. Obligatory phase "????"
5. Profit.
Be careful when you argue with trolls, lest you become one.

You'd think so, but there was a random [/i] at the end, I forgot that when you close one set it closes all the open sets you had, so I'm all like, *clicks bold clicks italic, clicks post* shit *light speed edit*

And I'm not on my man rags, there's a thread for these questions, and I pointed him to it in a polite way. *shrug* I could be a bitch about it, if you want.

I would like to add one thing here that all the other posters forgot to mention.

Have fun! Tanking is the most fun aspect of WoW imho.

I had to really work not to laugh very loud to draw my boss' attention. I could just see some dude actually rolling hes face across the keyboard.

You run into a crowd, and proceed to control it.
