Generally I pretty much always eat spell damage food and use spell damage elixirs/flasks. I'd rather get my HP from gear so I keep a lot of different pieces that I swap in for bosses I need the extra HP for, then just keep my normal tanking set as the threat rocket. I think it's in one of the posts here but generally 80sd would cost a lot more itemization points than 43sta (500hp) and 10def rating, so it's better (if you have the gear anyway) to get your spell damage from an consumables and your HP/avoidance from gear.

Then again I'm tanking in Kara/ZA/Badge gear and the guys I run with are in BT stuff so maybe I'm just used to having to be spell damage happy to keep aggro.

Flask of Chromatic Wonder can be handy for resistance fights, and the +18 stats part of it isn't terrible either.

Yeah, really should've added the resistance flask in there. Will update today.

Will also add Superior Mana Oil.
