Glyph of Protector of the Innocent

Though this glyph is primarily aimed at holy paladins, is there anyone whose been lucky enough to acquire 4 set already to take a look at it?

I'm curious about the benefits (and somewhat assuming that the 4p usages are primarily spent on healing other raid members) of essentially reducing the health 'cost' of using your free EFs on other raid members by 20% rather than refreshing / saving the casts for yourself as well as increasing the general trickles of healing that will be coming your way over the course of a fight.

Though simming it sounds like a nightmare to me and it'd vary in usefulness from fight to fight in a real scenario, in my eyes it certainly has some strong potential as a solid fourth glyph to round up with Focused Shield, Alabaster and DP.

Bare in mind BoG doesnt benefit if you heal someone else, so the heal from protector of innocents will be minimal.

I know, but as far as increasing the overall benefit from using your 4p to heal the raid, it could be an option. Seeing as most of the other glyphs are pretty much the same as having no glyph at all, it seems to be one of the few which would have some positive benefit.

Does 4p even work when we heal others than ourselves?

The big question is, do you currently use WoG frequently on other raid members to help out on healing, at the cost of your own survivability? If yes, then this is a good glyph to take to reduce the survivability loss.

In no way should you take this glyph and then start healing others because the glyph exists. The amount of healing received from this glyph when healing others doesn't compare in the slightest to just using WoG on yourself.

I'm pretty sure 4p doesn't work unless the WoG/EF is self-cast. Otherwise you'd be able to spam high-Vengeance EFs on the raid for free, which would be fairly broken.
