What Consumables to Use While Tanking [severely outdated]

Despite excellent scaling on str, the insane str potion performs poorly. For threat, a haste potion is comparable but for dps, the haste potion still wins. Additionally, there is the issue of its components being rare and being unsafe to use while tanking (which defeats the threat use).

I'm looking at the stickies and determining what to prune for Cataclysm.

Please advise if you want to...

a) Keep this thread, and update it for Cata,
