Best Leveling Professions

When leveling a new tankadin, what professions would be ideal?

I'm reading a lot that JC and Engineering are the best endgame at the moment. But which one to take alongside mining while leveling a new toon on a server I have no leveled alts on?

Oh.

In case you're wondering why ... Skinning is ez to level. It doesn't take a tracking ability (hence why you wouldn't be able to use herbalism and mining at the same time). LW need knothide leather to make heavy knothide.

One gathering and one production while you're leveling up is a waste, imo.

Mining and skinning, or herbalism and skinning.

You can make money both ways, but mining seems to be more popular because of more nodes.

Then again, at 62 you could powerlevel engineering, make goggles and a zapthrottle mote extractor, and farm motes!

Also just about everything you kill, excluding most humanoids, can be skinned.

I would probably still take JC, it's just a lot easier to level as you're leveling up than it is after, since the hard part is 225-300, and since you'll probably get most of the materials from leveling up mining.

But if you're just in it to make gold on a new server, skinning is a good choice.
