Honestly, if you don't have the DPS to get the portals down, you shouldn't have been able to kill Northrend Beasts. People need to switch faster.

one thing that worked just fine on my guild was linking the dmg taken by the nether portal, I was firstly about 10~12th on the dmg done... then you ask your dps how the tank is dealing more dps then him... after that you said that whoever deals less dmg on the portal then the tank will be replaced. MAGIC! suddenly all DPS are waiting to hit the portal 2~3 seconds before it spawns ...
