[25]Yogg Question regarding sanity wells.
Question about the green sanity lightwells that freya puts up in the yogg encounter.
While standing in a green sanity beam, does this reduce your dps or healing ability?
I tried to check this out on wow-wiki but couldnt find any info?
If it does reduce dps & healing abilities, does anyone know if it also reduces the effect of Pally/disc priest bubbles?

Ellifain @ Khaz'Goroth does not approve of torture, save where there's experience/rep/loot involved.

Reduces damage done by 50% but that's about it.

Re: [25]Yogg Question regarding sanity wells.
the only sanity loss healers take is from mind link and fears. Those can be controlled easily and thats all, standing in the sanity well is not a huge "boost" to the healers, unless he is purposely trying to get the other mind linked guy to go insane. Healers are usually the last who run out of sanity unless their stupid in p3.
And yes, it only reduces damage done by 50%

Hugging sanity wells isn't something you want to rely on anyway, the only people who should need to get sanity are the melee after the 2nd brain phase and a couple ranged/healers who got bad death coils and brain links. When/if you move on to hard mode, people need to manage their own sanity carefully.
I recommend 10-man hard mode for practice, One Light 10-man is easier than 25-man normal mode, and will feel more controlled. Solo tank it with two healers and 4 melee.
