How do you do Thorim hard mode with only one tank? Druid? Same question for Iron Council hard mode.

I should have been more clear. We do have someone respec for Thorim, but we prefer the extra DPS/healing for most other encounters.

As for the strategy, we didn't get to try it because a few people in the group still needed Hard mode and we don't use an OT in 10s, which makes tanking Freya and a Conservator from 100 to 0 a much less attractive idea.

Iron Council-hard can be solo tanked. It just really sucks. Trust me.

For IC hard mode would you kill the runemaster first having rogues OT storm caller with stuns and interrupts and then finally kill steel breaker? Hmmm that doesn't sound too bad.

It was more like "Death Grip him to me and then faceroll cooldowns," but yeah you get the overall idea. Basically, we got to phase 3 a couple times and decided it would be less work to have a warrior respec, but it was enough to prove the concept was viable.

Doing this fight but atm, it's VERY RNG for us. Every phase except Ancient Conservator is nps. Made everyone get > 25K HP but if shroom spawns are bad, the raid gets too spread and healing suffers and people die either to double Nature's Fury splash + tremor or similar. To get to P2 (done this 3 times), we need to get lucky. How are you guys tackling positioning @ Ancient Conservator.

Hmm, I'd like some more response to this post, since the tactic of leaving 1 pack up rly seems to be a good idea.

Can I get more confirmation that she doesn't spawn exploding mushrooms if we keep up one wave?(I'm pretty sure she doesn't, but trying to sell this idea to my guild hehe)

Also, more info on the damage boost from standing under mushrooms:

25% in 10M?
50% in 25M?

Knock, knock, knock on wood is a walk in the park in 10M, seems a tad more difficult in 25M =)

We did knock on wood last week, doing knock, knock on wood this week, and if the issues beeing discussed in this tread is valid, it'l make "P2" a walk in the park, compared to the circus we had last week, with people dying from mushrroms all the time^^

The exploding mushrooms are on a timer. She'll spawn them eventually unless she bugs out. I say this having left up the Ancient Conservator trying to get the back to nature achievement.

When we did this in 10 she didn't spawn seeds, but having seen Freya+3, I don't think it's a good idea to leave the Conservator up. Having to deal with roots and Nature's Fury, as well as trees and ground stomps... I just don't think it'd be easier.

Freya is known to bug out and not spawn seeds, but I'd take that as the exception and not the rule.
