[10/25] Thorim arena adds

So, honestly, I'm having a really hard time picking up the adds in the first phase of Thorim in the arena. My consecration isn't picking up the warbringers/evokers/etc. and it's all a mess. Even some of the healers are pulling aggro. I try everything I can to pick up each add. I hotR, ShoR, taunt, judge each of the elites and they just keep coming and I keep getting overwhelmed.

I was wondering if there is a "right" way to tank the adds as a pally.

We just did Thorim Hard mode last week, and I'm one of the arena tanks

We use 3 tanks - Prot Pally, 2 DKs - Me and a DK tank the arena. What we do is group up in the mid (with Priests / Druid healers) and all the mele. I take the Champions and the little dudes, while my DK buddy takes the evokers and Warbringers. Our priest leader is watching the mele dps to not pull and calls out people to back off. Make sure your dps is targeting your targets.

So, if your trying to solo tank arena 25 man - too much , need 2 - and if a feral druid wants to bear it up, even better.

The trick. Spam aoe taunt.

If I only do attacks I wont keep aggro on everything, But if after a bunch engage I spam tab and RD aoe taunt then who ever got early threat will be saved. Makes all the difference.

Also having the the glyph for HotR to hit a fourth target coulden't hurt.

Oh and I used the concencration +spell power libram for extra threat.

Of course. I read this *now* after seeing that libram drop in Naxx last night and slating it all to hell before telling a warlock to disenchant it. /facepalm myself

in 10man,
I drop Consec when the little adds come in (first few seconds I have aggro, then they are dead anyway)
I use HotR, ShoR, AS and Exo only on the bigger ones, Most of the time 2 bigger mobs run in the raid together, a good AS pulls both to you, the others I grab with a Exo and if everything else is on CD I make a SingleTaunt + HotR on that target (rarely)
I keep the other Taunt for emergencys
I stand in the middle, the people around me, (I use in that phase Blessing of Sanct.)
if there is good enough damage we can hold the arena for a good half hour if needed (mana was never a problem for all of us in the arena)
DKs seem to help alot, if they get hit by something its only a scratch, WLs tend to overaggro and get focused by little adds, stress on healers, I prefer DKs with me in the Arena
