[10] 2 or 3 healers. And why.
Do you run Ulduar with 2 or 3 healers?
How good do you have to be to run with 2 healers? Is it "easier" to run with 3 if you have enough dps?
Duel specs play a role?
Im interested in your thoughts.

Re: [10] 2 or 3 healers. And why.
We have had 2 groups going through the 10 man and we found for learning the encounters and trash, 3 healers (myself, disc priest, holy priest) were able to handle things fairly well. Our 2nd group followed with a disc priest and a resto shaman who were able to chew through the content even quicker. Honestly the lack of dps was probably what hurt us but sure made trash easier to handle after council

We go with 2 healers, just because you don't need more.

We're doing something wrong then as theres no way i'd try assembly or ignis with 2 healers. not had time to try further than auriaya yet either.

Iron Council doesn't need 3 whatsoever. The tank on the smaller melee guy doesn't even take much damage. The raid damage is pretty small too.
Ignis is a bit more problematic, but it's not that bad.
Currently on Vezax in 10-man (would be further, but we're doing mostly 25-man) and our 2 healer group has been fine.

Well okay, we haven't killed Ignis by now because he was bugged, don't know if we need 3 there.
Did Council with 2 and after the fight one of the healer said that it could be possible with 1.
We have killed Freya/Hodir so far, don't know how it goes with Thorim/Mimiron and the rest, but I think 2 will fit.

Vezax on 10 seems to hurt with 2 healers in my experience.

Used 4 healers on Mimiron trash. You could probably manage with 3 if you're able to chain cc the sappers

2 healers for everything but Ignis so far (which we haven't downed). Cleared all watchers but Mimiron and beyond (and Ignis)
Thorim is ridiculously easy with 2 healers if you don't accidentally trigger hardmode (screenfull of [Siffed!] and vent going "ohshit~")
Hodir on the other hand was a nightmare, but we still did it somehow.
Everything else has seemed 'just right' for 2 healer otherwise as long as people stay out of the fires.

We've been running with 2 main spec'd healers (priest and shaman) and we also have 2 dps with a healing dual spec in the raid (another priest and shaman). For the most part we've been 2 healing, and the elemental shaman tossing offheals if things look bad. We've done FL, Razorscale, XT-002, Kologarn, Auriaya, and the Iron Council in this manner.

It's better to go with 3 if you got them, maybe one dual specced DPS. Most fights are considerably simpler with 3.

3 is what I'd recommend, simply because it softens learning the content. 2 is doable, but doesn't leave much margin for error.
Don't make me sarcasm you...

Yeah my line of thinking as well. Once we get more familiar I would cut down to two but three helps the margin of error.

We've gone with 4 (one tree with a dual spec as a bear, and one shammy dual specced as enhancement) and keep 3 healers all the time, switching out the tank/dps as needed for the trash/boss' and have managed to down all but yogg so far (General went down last night after 4.5 hours of wiping and trash clearing) but about 300g later people got shiney new epic lewts.
