Ulduar Fear? *boss spoilers*
Auriaya
* Health - 16,734M (25-Man) / 3,137M (10-Man)
* Sonic Screech - A Sonic Shockwave that deals 185000 to 215000 Shadow damage to all enemies in it's path. The Shockwave damge is split between all targets in it's path. (2.5 Sec cast time)
* Sentinel Blast - Inflicts 5500 Shadow damage and increases Shadow damage taken by 100% for 5 sec. Stacks up to 5 times.
* Horrifying Screech - The screech strikes fear into the hearts of all nearby enemies, causing them to flee in horror for 5 sec.
* She also spawns a wave of panther adds (~20 adds) with 13k Health in 25-Man and 3k Health in 10-Man every now and then.

If it's a "Flee in Horror", as in horror effect instead of fear, And if that Sentinel Blast is stacked on tank i can see that fight be a 2 tank fight where other tank just waits around until 1st tank either gets few stacks of sentinel blast, or gets feared=>taunts. 1st tank now waits until stacks of debuff reach 3 or something or horror again=>taunt back.
If it's Fear instead of Horror effect though, then i say that ability is bullshit

Aye. Except it says all targets, so I almost hope it's a fear effect so my Priest can Fear Ward me =P.

The raid wide "saber-Lash" should be interesting. I can see it now. A few people refusing to group up for it because everyone who groups up dies. They're dying because there aren't enough people

So i wonder how the fear mechanics are going to work, is it going to be tank killing? do we need 2 tanks? do we need to start stacking priests? can we just eat it?

Taunts are ranged these days.
Basically means that the tank that's on watch over turn will chill out a few yards away from boss instead of doing leet dps.
This theory of mine ofc does rely on if she/he/it is tauntable

Well you can talent HoJ to have a fairly short cooldown, and considering the group up requirement that the encounter seems to have, I'd expect melee will be in range.fuzzygeek wrote:Sure would be nice if we had some real interrupts.
