Shockadin planning on respecing Prot, help!
Before I start on my epic quest to completely regear(wearing Mail for spell damage and my Healing set is all the gear I have >_<), I've made a CTProfile and was curious how it would hold up for Raid tanking, and if it needed any improvements
I'm a 375 Miner and Jewelcrafter, and I'm with the Scryers.
http://ctprofiles.net/5395976
I haven't made a 5-man/Heroic(should I use the same set for Heroics as I do for 5 mans?) tanking set yet, so please bear with me.
And the two points missing in my talent build are going into Imp. Holy Shield, CT hasn't updated it's website.

It's a nice set and if you can get the heroics done to do it, then well worth it.
You could use some avoidance (dodge/parry), so don't be afraid to swap out a couple of your Stamina gems for +Dodge rating ones where you can (like in your Felsteel Gloves for instance). Shield block's nice and cheap for making you immune to CBs, but even if you get your block value over 400, that's still a drop in the ocean compared to some raid bosses and trash.
Generally, in 5-mans, I stack up the block value/rating so I can AoE the mobs. CC's pretty much optional now. I haven't tried tanking heroics yet, but when I do, I'm going to go with my raid gear, and focus more on health/avoidance.

Be careful when you argue with trolls, lest you become one.

You don't reach Crush Immune, so for the serious mobs that are above lvl 70, you might get into problems. Get the helm and neck from the Badges of Justice, if you can get yourself to run so many heroics.
If you go for the Eaglecrest Warboots, then go for the tanking paladin belt as well, it rocks.

Can you give links, please? I was going by the stickied topic for gear suggestions, and I might have missed them.
Edited for a grammar typo.

Wowwiki says:
The chance for an attacking mob to land a crushing blow on a player is:
(NPC's level x 5 - Player's Defense) * 2% - 15%
... where "Player's Defense" is capped at the Player's level x 5.
If a mob is lvl 72, we get:
(72x5 - 350) *2% -15% = 5%.
There are plenty of lvl 72 mobs running around in heroics.
Then again, I never tested it. I'm not sure Wowwiki is correct.

Crushing blows have a hard limit of +3 levels (or rather, +15 defense skill). You will not get crushed in a heroic.
