Faceguard of Determination

I'm not sure if anyone has really commented on these yet, but for those of you that have time to farm Heroic Badges, get yourself a Faceguard of Determination.

I got one last night. It gave me 3-4% avoidance to dump and add stam. I gained about 500hps, and I'm still at 103.5%.

Here are the stats, including the gems added

1129 Armor
+36 Stamina
+12 Stamina (Solid Elune)
+18 Stam & +5% Stun Resistance (Powerful Earthstorm Meta)

+32 Defense Rating
+24 Dodge Rating
+24 Block Rating

Since I don't get first dibs on Kara lewt, I upgraded to this from the Felsteel Helm. Y'all know how huge that was

I had to run 6 heroics yesterday just to finish the damned thing up.

I think I'll wait for tier 4 since I got the greathelm as a fill-in piece until then.

I prefer the FoD over t4, personally.

Frees up a lot of room on other gear for more stam.

I agree. I don't have t4, but I don't really care if I get it anymore. I suppose I'd want to get it eventually.

The FoD is a LOT of avoidance though. I can use stam trinkets for both slots since I got it.

It's a great helm. I had my 50 badges waiting for it

After equipping it, I was able to swap out three more pieces for it (chest, gloves, and ring). Most notable was the fact it allowed me to finally drop andormu's tear for a ring with stamina without killing my tanking stats.

I've got the Felsteel Helm atm and I want this so much!

I picked up this helm the day of 2.1, with no second thoughts. 100% no regrets, it gives great avoidance and with a solid star and powerful meta its definitely a keeper. <3 the socket bonus

I aggree on this. FoD is nice, but since you don't want(!!!) to wear T4 gloves and legs... and Panzar'Tar is also better than the T4 chest... it is the only option to get the first set bonus (with shoulders), wich is a neat aggro boost.

+38 Armor, -2 Sta, -6 Int, +4 DefR, +4 DodgeR, -23 BlockR, +39 BlockV. (+0.41% Avoidance, -2.43% CB Prevention).

Using the T4 chest with the Faceguard gives a lot more CB Prevention, which allows you to be more lenient on the other gear.
