Any engineer pallies out there use these? They look like they could outperform Sporeggar rep shield for AoE grinding - and might even be good for adding a bit of aggro in instances. My biggest question if you've used this in lvl 70 instances is how long will it last before busting? Would I need half a dozen of them just to tank through a normal 5 man?

I wouldn't bother using them in an instance, but boy do I want one for grinding.

I had one Pre-Bc on my first pally.

Due to the durability damage from the proc, it isn't worth it. Sporegarr shield ftw.

Back when I was engineering the first time around I got this schematic while running MC. Never made a single one.

Now that I'm back as an engineer, I don't see a logical way of getting it from MC ever again. I just bring 2 Sporeling shield and call it a night.

This is most certainly true, but since it's BoE it can always be bought from an Engineer who picked it up back in the day. If it was worth the hassle...
