We were going to shard a pair of Thunderforged Vaultwalker Sabatons, the healer instance drop boots. They are stacked with mastery and haste.

I was wearing the 476 Sha boots still, we never had decenet plate boots drop and always spent VP elsewhere...

Swapping them I drop 1.25 Parry, but gain over 700 Stam, and a ton of Haste and Mastery.

I can't logically see a reason not to use these boots even though they're int. The 52ilvl jump is crazy.

Anyone think it's silly for me to use them?

You'll get some funny looks, but all the stam and extra secondary stats have got to be worth it and don't forget about the extra armour. Unless your buying the crafted ones soon it sounds like a good idea to use those until you get a good raid drop.

Comparing Vaultwalker Sabatons (Tf) with Angerforged Stompers

Gain -

1224 Int
706 Sta
434 Mastery (0.73)
640 Armor
243 Haste (0.57%)

Loss -

754 Str

The gain in Stamina is reason alone to use the Int boots. Quite hard to argue 754 Str > 706 Sta.
