Improper Enchants?

Postby Jestus » Tue Aug 24, 2010 8:58 am

I was recently told I will not be tanking/OT ICC for my guild because I have 3 improper enchants. Specifically shoulders, hands and cloak. Did I miss something or is armor on gloves and cloak as well and the PvP enchant on shoulders still considered good?

You haven't missed anything, those are all good enchants.

You should address your guild leader's horrible choice of trinkets.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Also, your GM has armor on his cloak as well. Wonder why he's using the "wrong" enchant as well? (HMMMMMMMMMMMMM)

Thanks for the quick replies. This maybe the reason I finally need to find a new guild without pissing off my wife. I've tried to tell him his trinkets are badly chosen but he won't listen...but then most brother-in-laws are like that.

From what quick glance I took at both your armories, he may have gear-envy as you appear to be better geared than he is. Perhaps he doesn't want you around because you threaten his epeen.

Well at least the guild name is fitting, because this is definitely going end up opening Pandora's Box.

I wonder if its your GM who said so, if that was the case yeh hes the clueless one.
You got better gear, enchants AND gems everywhere than he does.
240 armor on gloves isnt the "usual" enchant, most people use 18sta.
But armsman is a crappy enchant compared to them both.
Apart from the glove enchant, and i dont find it beeing worth socketing for 9sta bonuses, but other than that I see NOTHING wrong with your enchanting/gearing, but a lot could be said about the GM warrior.

Brother in law or not, I saw it. Don't care if I am late >> you need to take a few inches off for him and knock him off his high peg.

My guess is, judging from reading it several times, pre-bc, if not, pre-WotLK enchants *nod*

The GL has a Juggers ring since 28 August: no gem. The trinkets make my eyes bleed and my heart weep tears of bitter sadness and disappointment. That toon is proof that tanks CAN be carried and that Blizzard has made the gear-vomiting system of WotLK specifically to buoy the ego of the horrible and the stupid. The list of gear faux pas' goes on, and I am not man enough to bear to look at the spec--- I'm afraid. Very afraid.
