Petrified Twilight Scale

Thoughts? Comments?

That is a lot of dodge. Seems deceptively good for physical fights. I don't know how big the DR is going to be on something like that though.

it looks nice for physical fights with avoidable damage, but like you said, whats the DR gonna be like?

also wats the uptime gonna be like on that? your gonna be screwed if you get that proced, and then a magic hit....

I do not care for the dodge proc - I love it for the armor already. When going double armor it will kick out my Glyph of Indomitability for sure.

The proc is worth more outside of ICC25, assuming the new instance doesn't have a dodge debuff. If it does the equip bonus is pretty meh, if it doesn't then its still pretty meh.

Contrived situations can be made where the equip effect and avoidance gearing will help for Heroic mode of the fight, making it useful.

With my gear, it's about 8% dodge, FWIW.

One of them is outdated. It may be the health one.

what is...the lost eh value contribution from AD from not wearing a...say...key?

I think in full 277 with that thing - popping the 4 pc and that going off (assuming no dodgewell loldiance) would put you at like 92% avoidance fully raid buffed plus the extra armor which with AD would make you pretty crazily survivable at sub 35%...but I feel like I'm missing possibly the impact from the extra stam on AD (and probably underestimating the devaluation of the armor in terms of the AD contrib. to EH).

yeah...I was thinking about that too...but at least one of the sub-bosses is a drakonid. And who knows (>.< please please please >.<) there might be four separate hard modes in RS. Even if not though, it's probably going to be on the gear list pre-raid in cata, and it's an interesting topic to boot.

Also the barbecue won't trigger the effect as it requires a melee effect to trigger the proc. So the breath + melee combo that the effect would be useful for won't trigger.
