Need to figure out my next item to get from Valor tokens...

Do I grab the pants... the shoulders... or the ring?

Doing weekly Naxx [25]... and will be crafting a JC ring soon




Previous Questions Solved:
I'm now over 540 defense without my Repelling Charge...

Should I drop it and use one of these:
-Lavanthor's Talisman
-Sonic Booster
-Valor Medal (would have to farm some badges)
-Wish I'd levelled Jewelcrafting...

Or keep my Repelling Charge...

I'm thinking I'll add the Sonic Booster for my HP set... is this a bad idea?

edit: Should I replace my Signet of the Accord with a JC ring? In the long term I'm going to pickup the Badge ring too... (for defense buffing)...

I would keep all of the trinkets

if you're not block capped and can be with repelling then use that over lavanthor for trash, for lolprot dps use lavanthor (or for things like loatheb it can be nice)
valor medal is great for fights like patchwerk
sonic booster is good for things like maexxna

Repelling DOESN'T push me over block cap, Lavanthor's or Valor Medal would...

im not sure how repelling is giving you less total avoidance + mitigation than valor medal when it's 84 defense versus 84 dodge.

charge should always add more points towards block cap than valor medal.

I don't have Valor Medal... but 84 Defense gives 2.05% avoidance (including BR)... and 84 Dodge rating would be 2.13%?

Regardless I just realised the Valor Medal would still leave me under block cap...

So I'd need Lavanthor's to achieve that...

I would replace signet of the accord with the JC ring

if you socket JC with the def/sta you come out ahead on defense, and stamina, also 34 dodge > 35 parry

the only thing you lose is expertise which is negligible at this point due to SoV glyph & talents.
As far as the 25EoV ring goes, many on this form are somewhat against it and tend to prefer sandworn + JC ring versus sandworn + emblem ring

84 defense gives 2.05 avoidance (I assume this does not include block rating as it doesnt say mitigation)

84 dodge gives 2.13 dodge

both numbers are before pre DR, so if your parry is abnormally high then I can see the actual avoidance gained dropping. However, once you add in block chance from defense it should be clear that 84 def > 84 dodge for reaching block cap by about .5%
