Leggings advice please.
I am in a unique position to obtain a few leggings and I am unsure how to proceed.
Option 1)
Dragon Brood Legguards.

Option 2)
Valorous Redemption Legguards
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40583
Current stats are:
25.4k armor
547 Defence
24.41% Dodge
17.69% Parry
16.43% block
Now I realise that Holy shield will work a whole lot better with the shield block rating aswell as I would get the two part T7 bonus.
But I am torn between a shed load of stamina and defence or two piece tier 7 bonus + sockets and slightly higher TPS.
which to go for...

Assuming you would socket two 24 stam gems, the Valorous would actually put you 23 stam higher than the Dragon Brood. Valorous would also give you 3.17% shield block versus the Dragon Brood's 1.47% dodge.
Personally, I would go with Valorous for the SBR/SBV.

You are block capped, so the block rating won't help you at all. You do get more stamina and block value with Valorous versus more avoidance with the Dragon Brood. What is your unbuffed health and block value?

Hmm, your current legs have BV as well. I don't think you can go wrong either way, but I'd probably use Valorous for the extra stamina and to maintain your block value plus you'd get the set bonus.

Seems I still have alot to learn.
I had no idea I am block capped.
Infact I've3 read a few guides etc posted by Knaughty as such but I still don't understand.
Anywhere you could link me to with some extra help?
That'll show ya how close/far from cap you are, and much more ))

Actually I fail at math, you aren't quite capped which means you definitely want to use the pally set legs.
Basically block capped just means that while you have holy shield up (which should be 100% of the time) every attack either misses you in some way (miss/dodge/parry) or is blocked. At that point, there's no need to get more block rating since everything that gets through is already being blocked.
If your Miss + Dodge + Parry + Block Chance + 30 (holy shield) >= 102.4 then you are block capped.

There´s a big discussion on repentance vs obstruction somewhere, but my (highly biased) dwarven sense says obstruction. Use it, love it. Obstruction mitigates a lot more damage than repentance in almost every scenario.
I used to play a paladin.
