MH/BT soon?

Hello guys (and girls) I got a goal. It is to take down illidan be4 WOTLK comes, no matter if I am flame tank or illidan tank, I want to take him down as prot. I respecced prot 2 weeks ago and I have played 24/7 in order to get as best gear as posssible on as short time as possible and now I got decent gear. I have been MT in KZ/Gruul/Magg/ZA/SSC and TK. Now I am aiming for MH/BT. I wonder if I got the gear for it (esp now with the nerf post 3.0.2) and if not, am I close? what should I increase? Im not looking to maximize my gear to MT MH/BT Im LF to be OT with minimum gear but still be able to be a decent OT (not a burden for my party).

Your avoidance is awful, but if you can get up the badge FR gear, you should be able to successfully tank the flames.

Ignore defense for them, just stack FR, their melee damage is negligible nowadays.


Regarding rest of BT, you can probably tank Najentus, Akama's sides, probably Bloodboil, definitively not RoS (i don't think you'd really hold aggro against real DPS), OT shahraz, eventually tank the rogue on council.
Don't try to tank Illidan, even as nerfed he will shear you apart.
