Would it be worth while to get the heroic tanking shield, or just stick w/ the crest of sha'tar till nightbane's? I don't really need the helm t4 works great, and i'm not sure about the blocker yet. but basicly all the other items are not worth the points soo shield or get the healing one

Autoblocker is kind of useless for tankadins imo; on my tank I use it for burst threat (woo shield slam), but I'm not going to spend the badges on it on my tankadin. There are many trinkets better suited for tankadins ... the Vengeance card and Figurine of the Colossus are what I use.

For the same reason I'd argue Sha'tar with real stam gems up the wazoo is more useful than Coldarra Shield -- better avoidance.

But yeah. There's a definite paucity of tankadin oriented badge gear right now.

Crest is betterin my opinion, if you have Badges to burn like me, then you can get both

Save those badges though more heroic loot is being added when Zul'Aman goes in along with badges dropping off bosses in Kara and Zul'Aman, I beleive.

Uhm, maybe spend those badges on a autoblocker, its really useful in certain situations, and the item itself is rather unique, and far from useless ofc. I like my nearly 1k blockvalue when tanking 6 alar adds or something.

Shield is okay, but just like nightbane's, its no serious upgrade from shatar, so i wouldn't go for it.

Especially with those new badges items they announced. I'm sure some of them will be quite sweet.

Merciless Gladiator's Shield Wall is the 3rd best tanking shield in the game, and the best available outside of BT and Hyjal.

Autoblocker is most certainly not useless, it's godly for AOE tanking.

I was stupid and completely wrong about the autoblocker comment. I blame it on not having AOE tanked real stuff; it's like asking a two year old how useful condoms are. How the hell would they know?

I used Sha'tar until Gruul dropped his shield for me.
