WHen your ARP is over 25% from gear gem ARP before that point you want str.
Maybe I just have a disease or an addiction to tanking, my gf says I'm a masochist I say I like it rough, either way I'm a tank and I can't escape it.

Is there a source that reccomends gemming for armor penetration when <25% from gear? I doubt that not all mobs would require that much armor penetration. I'd think ( which might be my problem ) that more strength could be more beneficial when you have mobs lower with lower armor value. 50% armor penetration on 20K armor would obviously be better than 50% on 6k armor. The minimal gains on higher armor pen with a target with 6k armor seems hardly comparable to have more strenth to increase AP. Just my thoughts...

I mean don't get me wrong I LOVE armor penetration. Dmonic on Shattered Hand if anyone is interested in my armory, can't link from work, and too busy playing when at home to come read the site
