Oh sh*t son, that totally borks my spec. I forgot about that.
Goodbye Divine Sacrifice/Divine Guardian, I will miss you.
I'm not so sad at this. Look at the bridge side. If you spec SotP for 15% SoV damage, you can spec 3/3 Healing Light for +12% Flash of Light healing (and thus +12% HoT effectiveness). With Sheathe of Light, this basically means if you crit on a Flash of Light you'll be doing 168% Flash of Light healing, 168% healing as a HoT, and 100.8% Sheathe as a HoT along with ~1600-2000 damage absorption per SS proc. That's pretty potent compared to 150%, 150%, 90%. It's a total of +46.8% healing from the talent.
Anyway, you don't have to say goodbye to Divine Sacrifice. 5/11/55 still gets divine sacrifice and all PvE dps boosts. If you have a boomkin and additional source of improved might (hint: every prot paladin getting vindication), you can go 5/16/51 and get 1/2 Divine Guardian. If you are so inclined, you could also drop Pursuit of Justice for Vindication or any other variable there-in.

Look at the stats on the warrior dps gear, our gear has tons of hit, theirs has tons of expertise.
There are many better weapons than http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45498

all come to mind even if you have enough hit and expertise. Speed is a huge factor and the general drop is far too fast in addtion to it's poor itemization.
And again are you only looking at the tier sets? For many there are better options than the tier set for maximizing dps.

You missed http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45533 which was BiS for us until recently, and 4pc tier 8 is still best for maximizing dps. Though your assessment is correct that you don't need 5pc tier 8, thus dropping the chest (best option in the end) or legs is preferential.

Thats the weapon i was referring to lol, not the spear, i said vezax hard. Thats my preferable weapon.
I am not talking just tier either, i mean tier with other pieces, could maximize your dps, and give you the ability to get lets say 4pc t8 dropping the legs for the leggings from FL Hard. The Legplates of Ruination.
3 slots with crit/haste and a nice amount of str as well.
This is considering the possibility of the SoV glyph not being changed in anyway, and SoV being used as our PvE dps glyph,
