[10]/[25] Sarth MT class-specific Spell Dmg Mitigation ?s

Postby earanduin » Mon Mar 16, 2009 7:03 am

Hi all. I was hoping that someone can illustrate the differences among the classes. My guild is currently working on Sarth3D in 25man. I had setup myself as Sarth tank mainly since I had the hp gear to do it. I run with about 33k hp raid-buffed (after vesperon's aura) with about 225 Fire Resistance (which should net at least 20% resists), and I sit at 523 Defence.

I have a dps dk (unholy) who is willing to MT sarth if it is beneficial. His gear is decent and he gets to about 29.5k hp right now, without stacking stam in his gearing nor using any pieces of his Frost Resist set.

I also happen to have another unholy dk dps in raid. Should I ask them both to pickup up AMZ and cast them on me, or is a dk really much more suited in this role of tanking.

Sorry for the noobish question but I haven't played a dk as of yet.

our dk has 44k buffed and dk's mitigate the most breath damage.
I have 42k buffed and could probably do it barely, if they let me (id be 3rd choice over our dk and druid)
the druid has over 50k hp and reaches 60k with Survival Instincts talent

that being said we still have a hard time keeping the mt alive. good luck.
