On our maly 25 attempts, somehow ppl are getting hit by arcane breathe right after maly lands from the vortex. People aren't in front of him but it's like he's casting the breathe south while he's facing north, killing a lot of people. Whats going on?

Probably lag on the part of the animation or a pet got hit, to a player got hit. If they are too close to you, then they can take the blast when you explode 5 seconds later from the blast or whoever the MT is.

If anyone has pets out, they will get hit by the breath and kill a lot of your players.

If your raid doesn't run as soon as they land, they will also get hit.

Solution: Raid runs and pets dismissed.

This is it. There is a documented bug of pets aquiring the breath debuff even while not behind Malygos. Ever since patch 3.0.8, we've had everyone dismiss all pets, no problems at all if you do that.
