I usually have 100K + aggro on the first swap- not been back in since I started this thread, so it will be interesting to see how it goes next time after this advice.

The simplest explanation, since the taunts sound correct between you and the warrior (him taunting second) is that he's simply not hitting the mob before the taunt runs out. Is it possible he's taunting from range and running back to his spot without hitting the mob with an ability? I could see that being easy to do.

I'm not sure why it's happening, but try to judge something other than light as well. You might be getting healing aggro from the dps since they are taking damage from the marks and meteor.
