I know, old news for most of you.

But I went to solo her today as a brand new level 80 Holy and she was a piece of cake. 1700 Spell Power, 21k mana, 19k armor, 17.5k health.

I was never below 70% mana or 40% health. Seal Rightousness, Judge Wisdom, Holy Shock, SotR on every CD. SS up constantly and wait until I could get both the Instant FoL from Infusion of Light and the + 50% crit (75.5% chance to crit FoL) from SS.

Phase 2 went a bit slowly because I did not realize until 1/2 through that she was still melee attackable when flying. I was just Judging her and using Holy Shock only and kiling whelps. She burned alot faster once I knew that.

32 minutes to down her 1.2 million health but in the end she dropped:

130 gold
2 BoP 18-slot bags (needed for my bank...only have 16 slotters in there)
5 BoP Epics that vendored for another 21 gold (or do Abyss Crystals still sell on the AH for twinks ?)
3 BoE Rares, only one of which was worthy of the AH. The other two were DE

With her reset timer, is she worthy of the 45 minutes it takes to take her down every 4 days?

I think she is, honestly. As prot, it takes me ~20 minutes to kill her (plus travel time), and as ret it is even be faster. It's similar in money per time as doing dailies or questing is, and much more fun (for me). I find it easier to focus on that, as I tend to slack on questing.

edit: bring a DPS class that you heal, and you could do it in ~10-12 minutes, I expect. Half the money, less than half the time.

Try using SoV/Corr instead :) Whenever I can melee her i phase2 I usually get 10-ish seconds before the runs off again, so having a full stack up greatly increases my dps.

I try to do it every reset, because I´m too lazy to farm by ordinary means.

Use santuary and jump around in egg area. 10-15 whelps and you have all the mana you ever need.

Fire aura and Sacred shield help too

I just go in in pvp ret gear and spec, using SoL and JoW. She dies. FAST. Wings + trinket + low armor = ZOMG PEW PEW

Not sure why they had to nerf the gold drop right after I learned how to do it..... its really not worth the time anymore.

Guess im back to strath runs for the mount.
