Room after heigan

As I never did naxx pre WotLK I have a noob question:

Is there a strat for the "gauntlet" after heigan? We just bull our way down one side of the room, and was wondering if there was an actual trick to doing it.

Ugh so no shutoff switch or something, guess we have to re-do it every wipe.

Have only tried it once so far. DPS and heals need to learn to get the debuff.

The entire group moves to the far side of the room and follows the wall to the next room before Loatheb. Tanks pick up the maggots, and DPS kills the eye stalks, there is no AoE until the group reaches the next room where they are safe. I believe the eye stalks can be stunned and interrupted, so people should be doing that.

Hug the left wall while running like hell. No dps on the mobs and healing should be at a minimum. Make sure to have a warlock to summon the people who could potentially fall in battle. Stalks can be stunned and should be. Keep using sacred shield on your healers and keep RD on CD. Get as much reflective threat as possible. A prot warrior bringing up the rear is great for shock waving adds that go for the healers.

We hug the right wall all the way down, tanks run 2 seconds and head of the group aggroing all the maggots and the DPS takes down the eyes asap as we run... when we hit Loatheb's bridge the tanks stop and everyone else runs through to the circle... the maggots stream in slowly so the aoe'rs take em down as they come in and start hitting the tanks. Works everytime.

The way we do the larvae/eye stalk room is to have a tank in front, dps and healers in the middle, and a tank in back. We've generally just killed everything around us until we get to the end.

When I did it on heroic a couple days ago, we had someone use rocket boots or sprint or something and just pulled everything while the rest of the raid just ran through. Lots of people died, of course, but warlocks fixed that problem

Yep its just like the gauntlet before RoS in BT...hated wiping on that fight and loved tanking it better than the warriors

walk backwards along the left wall and time your consecrates to pick up the larva. don't move until your consecrate is off CD. rinse and repeat. have melee kill any stalks that crop up near the group moving along the wall. don't get too fussy, and don't go too fast
