How strong are bears in Wrath?
I haven't been able to keep up with all the theorycraft so I'd really appreciate some sort of summary of where they excel and whether they scale well or not (according to the mitigation sticky not so well?). All I know right now is that they can generate obscenely good threat and that they can now use mounts in bear form:

Bears are great; while personally I prefer the Amani model, the Polar and Black bears excel as well. Unfortunately, since they don't scale very well to mountainous terrain, bears will have some trouble in the Storm Peaks.

Mmm. Not so much. Shrunken head decoration pushes it right over the top. I'm not going to besmirk anyone thier trophy bear, but I wouldn't roll for one. Less is more in my book. If I could've upgraded the speed of my Gray Elekk, I'd never have gotten by Swift Blue.

It's looking like they will start out as heavy brusiers but scale less generously than other classes. Also with the recent changes to the way bears scale with armor trinkets, rings, necks, and cloaks those items might actually be better for the plate classes.

How is that abusive? Well trained animals can learn to do a lot of strange things.

I think it was the training that lead to the pic that was considered abuse.
