WOTLK - 7 Days
So I took off 7 days from work for WOTLK. 2 hours of sleep every night is what I plan on. How long should it take me to get to 80? I will be leveling with a Holy Priest who was in Beta.

I guess you'll need 3-4days /played from 70 to 80. If your leveling fulltime for a week it shouldn't be a problem

Yet i don't see any real sense doing this. Most people arrive 80 in between 1 to 2 weeks.
For experienced non-real-casual gamers this is the normal time and i don't really see any benefit in leveling any faster and putting stress on my body
The Lore quests are so fucking awesome, you really don't wanna miss those racing to 80!

I needed 3days for 60-70 and wasnt in beta or knew anything about the world itself in BC, only stuff posted on MMOchamp about items talents and stuff,
in WotLK it will be around the same, maybe even better, the questhubs are better and many more improvements boost powerleveling by a lot

2 hours of sleep a night is not enough, especially over an extended period. Damaging your health for a game is retarded.

Sleep cycles wax and wane in 1.5hr cycles.
I'd say get 3 hours... Two is going to mess you up in the head, seriously. Take it from the guy who drove (alone) 36 hours from Montreal to Tyler, TX, with no overnights.
On a related note, someone has posted a link to a leveling guide at (I THINK) wow-pro. Check it out ... Same format as Joana's guides, but free.

Search for Jame's Leveling Guides. They're pretty decent.

I wish people would slow down and enjoy the game. Anyone power-leveling through like this is going to be really bored until everyone else catches up.
Also, the quests and story in WotLK is really good... you should try to enjoy it.

That's what alts are for. The reason I want to pwr lvl is that I ind raiding to be the most fun so I want to get my main into naxx and ready for ulduar asap, since it is the first real high end progression race.

assuming they did not nerf the xp values of quests from the numbers i was seeing in the beta...
going at a rate of 250k xp/hr it would take just a little more than 60 hours (basing my numbers on the wowwiki page detailing xp required per level, those numbers were based on beta build 89XX).
but assuming your quests are returning around 20k experience each, you only have to hit 12.5 quests per hour. That's not hard at all to do.
that number drops down to 10.something quests per hour once you get into grizzly/zuldrak regions where the quests reward like 24k experience iirc.
rough numbers, but they are in the ballpark.
