Prot leveling Itemization

I know ret is OP as hell right now and the fastest way to level but if I decide to stay prot spec while leveling until dual specs hit what stats should I look for?

Same as for AOE grinding. Fill up as much of the attack table as you can with block rating and defense, stack str for more damage and BV then go to town. For instance tanking put some more stamina on and you'll be golden.

Could we also get this thread moved to the Basic training forum by a mod?

It's a fine spot just that the mods have asked that we phase out posting in wotlk and start posting in the normal forums it would be put in even if it is wotlk related.
