What are your keybinds for 9696?

Oh, and all my "hand" spells are bound to click2cast which I've found to be very convenient. Taunt actually is bound to click2cast as well, but also bound to mouse 5.

what exactly is click to cast? is that just click it once and it auto casts it onto yourself? how do ya set that up, macro? still new to doing extra key bindings and such, usually just let my hand dance across my number pad

It's a mod that you want to use in conjunction with some type of raid frames. I personally use it along with Grid. What it allows me to do is whenever I hover over someone on grid, I can click "mouse 4" and it'll cast a particular spell on them. It's most useful if you have a mouse with 5 or more buttons, but you can assign stuff to just normal left or right click too. Basically it lets you cast stuff on people without having to target them. I also have my dispel bound to a click2cast button as well. If you want to cast stuff on yourself with click2cast you can just hover over your own portrait and click any of the mouse buttons and it'll cast the corresponding spell.

I have a MX1000 mouse, so I have 4 buttons on my mouse I program to tab, shift, alt, and *. That way I can tab target, use shift/alt modifiers, and have a vent keybind on my mouse. I generally sit on WSAD, for movement and use ~-5, anything from 6-0 is generally 'clicked' - because its low priority.

I will use the numbers + modifers to explain the bindings. 1a=1+alt, 1s=1+shift. I typically use shift + # for oh crap buttons.

`s - racial, trinket, or some other oh crap button.
1 - taunt macro
1a - Divine Plea
1s - Lay on Hands
2 - seal of light
2a - seal of wisdom
2s - Divine Cleanse Macro (bubble/debubble)
3 - 9 macro - HS, consecrate, judgement of light/wis
3a - Macro - AS, SoV
3s - Divine Shield
4 - 6 macro - ShoR, HotR
4a - Hammer of Wrath
4s - HoJ
5 - Exorcism
5a - Holy Wrath
5s - Turn Evil
f - focus target - used for CC / LoH casting / etc.

Then I can use spots 6-7 for trinkets, weapons, bandages, various hand spells, etc.

Pull: 3a, (3a, 2a, or 2), 3, 3
Rotation: 3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4 .... toss in 3a/4a/5/5a when appropriate.

I might swap wings into 5a and just macro Exorcism/HW into 5. I'll play around and see how I like it. Regardless, all the abilities are 'right there' no having to stretch around down to 6-0 which is just a bit too far for my fingers to reach comfortably.

Oh yeah, you're probably wondering why I don't have cleanse, heals, etc on my bars - I use healbot. So left click = FoL, right click - HL. Shift + left click = cleanse. Alt + left click = HoP. I'll probably add Alt + right click for HoSalv.

I essentially use the exact same setup for all my classes. I have a lock, war, and hunter, and a few lower levels. I set them all up the same way - 1-4 for main abilities, ` and 5 for useful but not amazing stuff, and shift + `-4 for oh crap buttons. I basically share the muscle memory between toons, so no matter what I am playing - it works out decently well.

Then i have 3 bars posistioned under the main one (using Bartender) and i click the rest as needed.

at the moment i am using 24 buttons horizontal, and clicking the next when i can, until the end, then return to Avewngers shield (the fourth button)

also: only using DBM/Pallypower and Omen at the mnoments

(the default wow-interface gives you exactly 24 buttons above the lower row :p)

Try out the mouse wheel. Its fantastic. I dont really even need bars anymore. Things just come as muscle memory now.

I was thinking about doing that. What do you use to zoom in/out though? because I typically like to play zoomed out as far as possible, but that gets really annoying in instances that have low ceilings.

Hit #1 then #2 then #1 then #2, repeat.

At 70 and while levelling till 75, you would obviously only use the second macro.

I am trying to leave as much of the rotation manual while still trying to make it a bit less space consuming and more simple. Pretty much what has been working for me is binding ShoR and HotR to a castsequence macro.

Main buttons are:

9 - Cleanse (if our 11 pt talent is self activated then it will probably replace this in wrath. probably will be replaced by anyway)
