there was several bosses in zg and pre tbc which did it and i pretty sure there will be a boss in wotlk which has the ability. pvp side alone is enuf to argue it!

Um...it may not be as reliable, but wouldn't Seal of blood suffice for breaking gouges anyway?

On live SoB's self inflicted damage comes just after the damage. There is a small delay and apparently it works to break cc.

would that involve fulltime tanking with seal of blood or mad skillz to know when to turn seal of blood on?

So... mini-shield wall on a 2 minute cooldown or a situational self-CC break?

Yeah...

Pretty much.
It's really, really, not a big deal, not even a small one.

Being able to put Sacrifice on a DPS during Moroes and hope they live to take a hit before a healer gets gibbed... not exactly what I would call immunity to gouge.

Exactly PsiVen, we don't have gouge immunity, how the hell can we? 2nd threat is unreliable at best at Moroes due to mass pewpew and is no way reliable in 5 mans (mana-tombs is the best example).

Berserker rage has ALWAYS removed exisiting effects. You can get sapped, gouged, feared, whatever, press it and they all go. As Splug says, the problem is that you had to be in berserker stance if you hoped to do any of this.

Tbh I think this is a mainly PvP change, with arms now focusing completely on Battle Stance, they don't want you sitting in berserker stance not using overpower/rend just because you might get CCd. It's not like a fearing boss in a raid (read: Nightbane and Archimond) is a huge problem for the tank nowadays is it...they probably won't suddenly and fear to 50% of bosses or something equally retarded, and even if they do, warriors will break it as they always do, except now they don't have to change stance.

Again, great for arms - DPS away in Battle Stance and not be worrying about quickly switching to zerker to prevent the incoming fear and back again, just hit it when it comes without borking your DPS cycle/rage.
