Shield Block
Increases your chance to block and block value by 100% for 10 sec.
Instant, 1 min cooldown

Talent : Shield Mastery (rank 2)
Increases your block value by 30% and reduces the cooldown of your Shield Block ability by 20 sec.

Seems like it.

My only other major concern is if you have included critical block in your warrior tests. To me, this single ability is the one that makes warriors shine just that few percent over paladins.

Updated with correct Shield Block uptime, as well as Glyphs (one glyph across two classes effecting mitigation = http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?item=43425) and filling in the ranged slot (Initially left out as sigils and idols don't have equivelants)

It seems we are indeed 2-3% behind warriors in blunt mitigation all the way along, and anything from 4-7% behind in damage taken over time.

Concerning, I'll update the OP rather than mislead.

Well you did a great job on re-establishing the said difference and quite possibly pointed out with your initial posts what blizzard bases their numbers on...Perhaps keep those for reference as well in the inital posts...

The visual the graphs provide is an extra bonus to get the point across..If only the Blizz forum supported the addition of images to a post :-)

So GC is right, we are within a few %... just always negative.

OOC, can you run simulations giving RF 8/10% mitigation, altering Ardent to be something like 20% reduction under 50%, and similar changes? Lets see what actually brings those two lines into somekind of wavy union.

how does DKs fit in with all this? or is it too complicated to fit in with all their cooldown abilities? :)

Stop being lazy, write it out in ASCII ^ ^

to the OP, very nice m8. I think seeing it all presented so nicely has helped a lot. Also I agree that Blizz could be neglecting the effect of the ranged slot and shield block.

EDIT:
can you run simulations giving RF 8/10% mitigation

Wanna see this as well :D

Increasing RF to be 10% mitigation should be a good test. Thumbs up for doing this ziggyunderslashone
