someone want to look closer at this ?
I read about this here in this forum. Every Class gets more base HP 71-80. So you see higher HP Pools for every class at 80.
And our Gap between warrior and paladin got a little bit smaller. 2039 Stamina and you're equal.
Unbuffed Tier 7 (+Naxx drops) give 1850 Stamina or so, so end of Tier 7 fully buffed you should have the same or more HP then warriors. As Ghostcrawler says "between 2% and 3%"

A paladin will not have equal health to warriors at T7 unless fully buffed T7 gives ~3600 stamina.
Yes, it's that bad.
a = health difference
s = stamina x 10
1.1 (Kings) x 1.06 (Sacred Duty) x 1.06 (Combat Expertise) x s = a (base health difference + ranged slot) + s x 1.06 (Vitality) x 1.1 (Kings) => s x 1.23596 - s x 1.166 = a => s x .06996 = a => s = a/.06996. Since it's stamina x 10, the equalization point is a/.6996. For quick math, that means roughly a x 1.43.
Say the difference in health is 1500. Equalization point is ~2145 stamina. If the difference is 2000, the equalization point is ~2860 stamina.
With a good ranged slot, however, the difference is closer to 2500... meaning the equalization point is ~3575 stamina.
EDIT:
Or maybe not. It seems the base health difference is smaller than I thought.
From Elitist Jerks:
Assuming that's correct, it's less than 2000 health difference with one of the best ranged slots (Nestingwary 4000). Much more doable.

Level 80 Paladin: 6934

It's probably 141 (which would provide 1230 health, making the EJ values correct).
Which is a good point; we need to account for the differences in base stamina per class/race as well. Warriors have more stamina, I believe, which would make the break-even point higher.

I know in BC, the "standard" for being a geared (hpwise) tank is to have around 16k unbuffed, which buffs up to 19k-20k. I'd like to kno wats the new standard if anyone on Beta already got one
Naxx tanks seem to be around 25k, raid-buffed.
I imagine you could get higher, I run up to 23k at 70, but you need to stack defence, not stam, in Naxx.

How the hell were you getting 16k as a "standard" for an unbuffed tank? Coming out of t4, I had something like 13k (maybe closer to 14k). In a mix of t4/badge gear and a few hyjal drops, I'm sitting at just over 15k now ..

I sit just over 17k unbuffed on live, in badge+T6 gloves and some BT gear. But I am also a fan of double stam trinkets(Commendation and DMC:V), which I'll probably keep unless I have to break out a defense trinket. Stam is EH AND THREAT in WotLK, and I am an EH junkie.

The "standard" for "being a geared tank" depends on far too many factors to just categorically state "16k unbuffed".
It depends on your gear level, whether you focus on EH over avoidance, avoidance over EH, or go for a balanced approach.
That being said, a well-geared pre-Naxx tank will probably see ~25000 health unbuffed.
