i really wish they would have some sort of aptitude test in order to "opt in" to the beta process... the stuff flying around in that forum is downright sad.

Oh don't worry. It got better in another thread where the DK dorf claimed that she rolled her pally tank as a caster and not a warrior. Go figure. I think it's a troll honestly. And I really hope Blizzard boots some of these people out of the beta.

As misinformed as some people may be on the beta forums, Dorvan is correct. Blizzard is gonna read those forums so it is vital that we provide meaningful feedback there (as well as with the in-game suggestions/bug/survey tool).

And for every couple of horrible posts there are absolutely awesome posts that need to be bumped and contributed to.

Beta forums are not nearly as bad as live forums. Mostly because the Blues seem to be allowed to communicate more about things, and they do a pretty good job of it. When folks don't know why things are changing, the speculation and mob mentality takes over. They should allows this type of Blue activity on all the PTR forums before big patches.

Yeah that's the same guy from the other thread. His opinions aren't getting much traction though, so I doubt it's anything to worry about.
