with strength being important...
Does this mean I have to apologize for all the people I've chastised for socketing AP and wearing AP trinkets?
Maybe rather than being morons, they were just ahead of their time?

Nope. They were Morons then. If you see someone on a Segway in a crowd of pedestrians, you don't think "what a visionary", you think "what a twat".
Be careful when you argue with trolls, lest you become one.

So, because you know that in 10 years, the currency of choice will be salt, will you pay your employees with salt today?
GL in jail if you do that.
They were morons. Still are and i wouldn't be surprised if some of them would call the holy pally gear good to tank, retaining their Moronic Factor® up

I guess caster weapons are a thing of the past though, right? (i'm sure this has been answered but i've been busy, sorry). I say that because HotR does weapon damage, and my weapon damage right now is pretty sad.

Trick question. They are still morons, cause they should have socketed strength and not AP!

A caster weapon will probably be nice to have in a massive aoe situation like Mount Hyjal. Otherwise, you'll want a high-DPS onehander.

Waste of my time. On the first day the prof told me I obviously knew more than he did and should be teaching the class.

It is a special case after all...
I'm pretty forgiving of Tankadiots. They're in the unique position of having their spec demand radically different gear out of nowhere than the stuff they were wearing for 60 levels. It's not like at 60, hunters started wanting +int and +spelldmg gear or anything.
Then again, there are the few who thinks the merciless gladiator's slicer is the best thing that ever happened to a pally tank and proudly wear it in heroics...
