Vengence refresh: DOT refresh mechanic change?

Now Vengeance refreshes each swing, and it ticks every 3 seconds. Does that not mean that with a faster than 3.0 weapon swing it should NEVER tick, since it is constantly being refreshed? Or has something changed in WOTLK to allow it to do damage? Does this mean refreshing DOTs for other classes (corruption, SW: P etc) now also don't loose ticks when refreshed?

Refreshing a DoT does not cause it to lose ticks.

A lot of the warlock talents talk about "refreshing" your Corruption, does this mean they won't loose ticks then, since I know people were worried about that!

This. SoV refreshing uses the same mechanic that talented Sbolt, Talented Drain Life, and Talented Mind Flay do. They all do not lose ticks upon refreshing, they just keep going.
