New Beta Build - Threat Meter in game now? [Screenshot]
OK, so I logged on to beta after patching today, and this is what I saw when pulling a mob off an NPC just by simply Judging them:
Is this something that was ingame before? If not, is this a sign of things to come...This can mean huge things for tankadins!
So to sum up:
- I had scrolling text on in interface settings.
- The mob was attacking the NPC
- I judged Wisdom with Corruption seal on
- The mob focused on me after I judged (it still has NPC as ToT in the shot)
I couldn't find anything in the combat log and the scrolling text to effect/change this...

I'm guessing the % means % of current target?
If so then it wouldn't be a big leap to an actual meter, which would be nice because getting dps to look at scrolling combat threat over ZOMGBIGNUMBARS might be a problem for the people that need something like this the most.
For tanking it doesn't seem like this would really help since you should always be at 100% threat of the target of target. It will be nice to keep people from pulling agro but I would imagine we will have normal SCT or turn it off.

First step for the built-in threat meter!
It's a good thing.. those people in PuG's that don't use Omen might start to get the concept of threat.

about 550 on lvl71, non rested. Not really grinding them, just saying Hi to old friends after being ported by neck.
Maybe if you have rested bonus, whole pack will give you about 20k XP on level 71... not really worth going, but if nothing else to do...

Behold the beauty of UnitDetailedThreatSituation().
Acording to the beta forum it takes source and target as parameter and returns 6(six!) values.
Two of them beeing the relative thread for you to the target and the exact threatnumber.
Looks like currently, 100% means you have aggro.
It factors in the 130% for ranged and 110% for meele to pull aggro and scales it to 100%.
That means, you reach 100, you pull.
** Edit **
The UI and Macro forum in the US Beta is wonderfull too~~~

Apparent i got the args count wrong...

I think that 175% aggro in the first pic is meant for tanks,
it shows how much more aggro you have from the second in the threatlist
7 values, lets think:
1 value for aggro of the player
1 value for aggro of the next player
(maybe 1 value for the "who is aggroholder" and maybe 1 value for the name of the second place in threatlist)
(the relativ threatnumber to the second target can be calculated and dont need a extra value)
what are the other 5 values? any ideas?
