[Test Needed] Aggro test for ShoR, HotR, Shockwave

I would much appreciate if you run aggro test for Shield of Righteousness and Hammer of the Righteous.

TIP:
=============================================
Required stuff:

1. One Prot pally
2. One DPSers (preferably with no aggro modifications. Keep in mind rogues have natural aggro redution)
3. One tough mob

Procedure:

1. Make sure neither you nor your DPSer has any seals, threat talents or other buffs active (Devotion Aura doesnt count Razz), i.e. aggro modifiers.
2. Biatch-slap/Hammer the mob and turn off the autoattack (I assume it might be turned on when using these abilities)
3. Let the DPS start... uh, well, not bandage you... DPSing Razz
4. When he draws aggro finish off the mob (I assume the mob would be still alive if it was tough enough)
5. Check the combat of the DPSer, sum up his threat and calculate the total threat generated. It is advised for him to use just auto-attack.
6. Calculate your base threat from the skill tested.
7. DO NOT FORGET: melee needs to be 110% of your threat in order to draw the mob off you, ranged is 130%.

In addition if somebody has a Warrior and willing to run a test of Warrior's Shockwave innate threat, could you please then give me the results?

Might be ideal to use a low DPS narrow damage range 1H, liek a starting zone weapon, for more even DPS.

Hammer of the Righteous does not force you to autoattack currently.

If these numbers still haven't been drawn out in a week or two, I should be able to get the values for hammer and shockwave with the lv 70 ranks. However, odds of me leveling my paladin to 75 on beta are slim... and I'd be shocked if no one's tested any of that by the time I get ahold of a key. Sounds like a few people are closing in on PLD75 though...

I will work on this for you tonight when I get home.

HotR doesnt turn on Autoattack, however SotR does and seems to time a swing to occur immediately when you do.

Still I will try and get you some numbers to work with.

Sorry for the delay, now I didnt get a huge ammount of testing in. However the setup was me lvl 77 and a feral druid, lvl 70 in tauren form swinging his staff.

So the first Hammer of the Righteous did 662 holy damage, that was the only damage i delt.

662

At 921 damage he pulled agro, his last hit was for 124 so it happened between 797 and 921.

2nd try HotR hit for 695, agro was pulled at 973, last hit was for 146 so between 837 and 973.

Now SotR I got lucky on this one cause I missed with my melee attack that happens at the exact same time.

777 holy damage, agro was pulled at 1169 damage delt. Last hit for 136 so between 1033 and 1169 is that spot. I'll get some more tries in to narrow it down but there are some basic numbers for you to grind.

Seems like he's pulling aggro way to early...am I wrong?

In theory he should pull aggro at: ((Holy Dmg)*1.9)*1.1 (which in your first case would be 1383). This assumes Righteous Fury was active. Was it?

Can someone better at math let me know if that's right?

As per the original request no threat buffs were used including righteous fury. Those are base numbers without any modifiers.

Isn't this kinda moot since you can just use the built in threat meter now?
